My passion for art, doing and appreciating, began in childhood. Over the years, making art has been a sanity saver, a therapist, a means of giving part of myself to others, often challenging, and always - if at times, frustrating when stumbling through learning a technique - a wonder-full experience.
Last year, I embarked on the journey into printmaking. What an awe-inspiring adventure to learn that a print is an art form in its own right, and not merely a reproduction or copy of a painting! Experimenting with woodblocks, monoprints and other forms of printmaking has quickly become a passion.
