The Australian Society of Authors
The Society provides members with its journal publication and regular
newsletters, a contract advisory service, mentorships and advise on
writing, copyright and publishing. Lists publishers, editors and agents
on the Web site.

Erismac's Books for Writers in Australia
Eris Mac provides valuable Aussie market resources for writers, including
short story markets and competitions, poetry markets and competitions, as well as
a special publication of listings for young (under 18) writers and poets.

Fellowship of Australian Writers
A worthwhile organisation, especially for new writers, and has branches
in most states. Sends out a regular newsletter that lists literary competitions,
awards and publishing opportunities.

Victorian Writers Centre
Provides members with a regular newsletter that lists literary competitions
and opportunities, workshops, seminars and information, as well as a
lending library of resources.
